Blueberry Island – Spring 4 – Dawson

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to Blueberry Island! Today we visit Caryl Dawson and her dog Suzi. Last season, teenage Caryl was left all alone after her adoptive father passed away of old age. She threw herself into school and working in the flower shop she inherited.

Caryl was used to being alone now, but that didn’t make it less lonely or difficult. This season, she would finally become an adult – something she’d been waiting for for a long time. She was done being a teenager and having to go to school while also running a household and a business.

Luckily, she did have little Suzi as a companion.

And she also had some great friends, who tended to randomly stop by and plop down on the sofa with her to watch a film, like Erin Chin.

On the day of Caryl’s birthday, Erin insisted on coming home from school with her. Caryl didn’t want to make a big deal out of the entire thing, but Erin didn’t want her to be alone and Caryl was secretly quite grateful for that.

Erin even surprised her with a birthday cake.

Caryl looks gorgeous all grown up! She also immediately rolled the want to move out.

She and Erin had a lovely evening eating a ton of cake together and Caryl felt happy for the first time in a long time.

The next morning, Caryl decided to act on her feelings right away. She said goodbye to the apartment she’d never really felt at home in anyway, and then she and Suzi left the premises to start a new life and leave the past behind.

With her inheritance money and the money she’d earned from all of her hard work at Magnolia Market, she managed to buy a cottage on Sunset Avenue, near the beach. She finally had the home she’d always longed for, and she also lived right across the street from Oliver, who’s older than she is but who’s technically her nephew.

The first thing she did in her new home was look for a job in her LTW career, which is Science, and she found a job as a test subject (level 1) right away!

After work, she went to Spa Suzanne to relax for a bit, and maybe meet a potential victim to help her with her “Ask Sim on Date” want. She finally had time for things like that now.

Also, she loved the bubble blower.

Aaand Camryn Lee is cheating on free will again. This was in Club Bigfoot, which is where Caryl went after the spa. She met quite a few men there, but had negative chemistry with nearly all of them. Her turn ons are Zombie and Cologne. Definitely need to change that at some point.

Back home, Caryl made a late night dinner for herself and in doing so earned the Cooking skill point she needs for a promotion.

The next day, she got promoted to Lab Assistant and brought Komei Tellerman home from work.

I’m not sure why, though, because they didn’t get along at all. Caryl ditched Komei and headed out to Founder’s Park.

There, the only person she met that she had more than one bolt with was Abhijeet Depiesse, but he left right after she greeted him.

Back home, her friend and neighbour Eric Robinson came for a surprise visit and they had mac and cheese together.

And that’s how Caryl’s season ends! There wasn’t any time to visit her store, Magnolia Market, but lots of other things happened. Definitely a good season for Caryl!

I hope you enjoyed this update – Happy Simming!
