Last season, Oliver Dawson moved into a home of his own after growing up to an adult. His younger siblings moved there with him, but they quickly moved out to college as soon as that was established. Oliver quit his job as manager at one of Eric Robinson’s stores and took a job in Business.
Oliver is a Popularity Sim who lives alone in a pretty big house. So, he spends a lot of time on the phone with his friends. His LTW is to have 20 best friends. So far, he has 8.
He also has his job in the Business career to keep him busy. He’s a level 2 (Executive Assistant) right now.
He came home with a promotion!
After work, he really wanted to go on a date, so he asked out his friend Ivy Copur.
They only have one bolt but I reeeaally like her, so let’s see how it goes.
So far, so good!
He had his first kiss with her! I’d forgotten he hadn’t had his first kiss yet. He was too busy earning money to buy his own house and take care of his siblings when he was in high school.
They had quite a few more kisses – in the middle of the street.
At the end of the date they were both in love!
The next day, Oliver was definitely in line for a promotion but then he lost all of his Charisma points due to a bad chance card…
He brought Madison Burke home from work, though, and they became friends.
Oliver wanted to go on another date and was also feeling quite hungry, so he asked Ivy if she wanted to have dinner with him at Walker’s. She said yes, obviously, and they had a great time.
In fact, they had such a good time that Oliver asked Ivy back to his place…
…where they had an even better time. She even stayed the night. Although she didn’t spend any of it sleeping – mostly, she was jumping rope on the upstairs landing.
Oliver spent most of the next morning earning back his lost Charisma skill points.
In the afternoon, he decided to throw a party for some of his best friends to be, but it wasn’t a great one. In fact, it was a snoozer… Luckily, Oliver didn’t have a fear of that. He did get a bad memory, though.
The next day, Oliver did come home with that promotion to Junior Executive.
He asked Ivy over for another date, this time at his place, and they ordered pizza… which I then realised isn’t unlocked until a population of 3,000. Oops. Oh well.
At the end of the date, Oliver asked Ivy to move in with him.
Meet Ivy Copur, a Knowledge/Fortune Sim who wants to become The Hand of Poseidon (Top Oceanography). She’s currently an Employee at one of Eric Robinson’s businesses, and she’ll keep working there until she has the gold Fishing badge she needs to go into Oceanography, I think.
The next day, Oliver had to work, but Ivy had the day off. She spent the morning painting. I’m debating whether or not I should have these two buy a small business lot (I want to make a couple of ‘market stall’ type things in one street) but since it’s the last day of the season, I think I’ll leave it be for now. I’m not sure what they should sell yet anyway and it’s Winter, so it’s a bit cold to have them work outside.
Oliver came home early due to a chancecard promotion! He’s now an Executive (level 5).
The new couple ended the season playing video games together.
