Blueberry Island – Winter 3 – Walker 3

Hi all!

It’s been a while, but I’m back again! I’ve been having a ton of fun again playing Blueberry Island, so hopefully I’ll get around to posting all of the updates I’ve got pictures for. Today, we’re visiting Rachel Walker and her fiance George McCarthy. Last season, they opened up a bakery and got engaged. At the end of the update, they used all of the money they’d earned with the bakery to buy a new home on First Street. Let’s take a look at it!

Like her older sister Caroline, Rachel and her fiancé George moved out of their apartment and into a beautiful home of their own at the end of the season. They’re living on First Street, right down the street from Rachel’s parents.

Rachel immediately tested out the new kitchen by baking stock for their bakery, while George went off to his job as a College Senior Professor. He worked during the day and Rachel, a Sous-Chef, worked afternoons and evenings, which made planning their wedding a bit difficult.

Rachel came home with a promotion to Executive Chef. She seems very angry about it, though. :’)

Neither one of them was tired, so Rachel and George went to Rachel’s Bakery to work for a while. To refresh your memory: George has the LTW to have 5 top level businesses, so after they’ve topped this one, Rachel will transfer the deed to George’s name.

Business was going pretty well. Everyone loved to have a bakery in town.

Another reminder: Rachel and Eric Robinson having been cheating on their partners with each other on community lots all over town while I was playing other families… Not really sure what I’m going to do about that!

George and Rachel got the bakery up to level 8 and then went home again.

The next day it was finally time for Rachel and George to get married! I regretted not checking George’s formal wear before starting the ceremony, though.

The whole family was there to witness the beautiful occasion, both of Rachel’s sisters with baby bumps.

Rachel was overjoyed. She hadn’t expected to ever get married, but George was the man for her. He was the one! Eric was just this side thing she’d enjoyed, but no more.

Jake and Christy are both very happy as well, judging by those +8,000s above their heads.

She’s a stuffer! That comes as no surprise.

Everyone had a wonderful time together, catching up and having fun.

Rachel and George decided to have their wedding night on the sofa (ACR Try For Baby!)

And then again in the bed! (Again ACR, again Try For Baby – they both failed though)

The gypsy brought them a genie lamp!

Rachel had a couple of days off, so she did a lot of baking for the bakery. On Thursday, she went to Julia’s Groceries to get some new supplies to stock the fridge.

She chatted with Julia for a while.

Back home, Rachel went back to baking.

Rachel got promoted to Restauranteur, which is level 9 – so she’sclose to reaching her LTW! She also got a chance card, which got her nice $50,000 bonus.

George didn’t get promoted, but he does have an aging issue… His age bar is completely empty, and it’s stuck at “15 days left”, which is weird in itself, because he should have 20 days left… I was waiting for this household to get a little glitchy since I had to do some stuff to make the party work (re-installations of the game always bring trouble with it, don’t they?)… Or maybe it’s because he’s an NPC and I had to some weird things to make him playable? Oh well. I’ll age him up when Rachel does.

And that’s it for these two. They were a bit boring to play, in all honesty, which I hadn’t expected! The wedding was fun, though. I hope you enjoyed it too! Happy Simming!
