Blueberry Island – Spring 3 – Walker 2

Hey everyone!

I’m back already with another update, although this is just a short one. Earlier this season Elijah Walker (Jake and Christy’s oldest child) moved out of his parents’ house and into his own place, which is actually the Harris family’s old place.

Elijah is a Popularity/Grilled Cheese Sim who wants to top the Journalism career, which won’t be happening for quite some time since the first position in Journalism is only unlocked when the town reaches a population of 1,000.

Anyway, let’s see what Elijah gets up to in the last three days of Spring!

First order of business was to find a job. Elijah took a job in Criminal since he figured that if he couldn’t work in Journalism, he could at least discover everything about the crime world. His mother, who’s Captain Hero, wouldn’t be pleased, but it would make a good story for when he did finally get a chance to be a journalist.

After finding a job, he did some painting.

Some people came over in the welcome wagon, even though he’d lived on the island for his entire life. He knew none of the people who visited him, which presented a great opportunity to make new friends. I thought it’d be really cool to hook him up with Kaylynn here, but they had no bolts at all.

Elijah spent the entire afternoon with the welcome wagon and enjoyed himself greatly. For dinner, he made himself some grilled cheese. It was his favourite after all.

He went to bed feeling quite happy that night.

The next day he finished his painting and went on to write a crime novel even though he hadn’t even had his first day at work yet.

In the afternoon his youngest sister, Hannah, called to catch up and see how he was doing in his new home.

That evening was his first day at work as a Bagman.

The boss seemed to like him, and he got promoted to Bookie straightaway.

The next day, I decided to let Elijah visit the Arts and Crafts hobby lot, hoping he would meet a nice girl there.

He made some hot dogs on the grill, which weren’t as good as his grilled cheese, but they would do.

Eric came by the lot as well and did the Romance Sim strut :’)

Since no one interesting was at the lot, Elijah went to check out the new Football Stadium.

I don’t believe I’ve mentioned it before, but I placed it in the neighbourhood at the start of the season as the second NPC community lot, and it unlocks the Athletic career. Blueberry Island now officially has a football (soccer for all you Americans) team!

I downloaded the lot from here:

Back to Elijah! He met Camryn Lee at the stadium, and they had two bolts together.

They bonded over their mutual appreciation of Eric Robinson :’)

And then she walked off…

Back home he tried calling her but she didn’t pick up so he did some more writing, having some actual first hand experience with the crime world now.

After 4 pm he did catch her, fulfilling the want to talk to her. He then rolled one to flirt with her, so he invited her over.

After chatting for a while he got up the courage to ask her on a date, and she said yes!

He fulfilled that flirt want! Elijah and Camryn really hit it off.

They liked each other a lot and ended up with crushes very soon.

ACR did the rest… They had their first kiss and their first Woohoo within minutes of each other. But, hey, if you know, you know.

They both fell in love at the end of the night.

And then she left because it was already past midnight, so my playing time was up. Next time, she’ll move in if all goes right! She will have to change her hairstyle, though, because she looks a bit too much like Elijah’s mother for me to be comfortable with all this… :’)

That was it for Elijah for this season. Hope you liked it and Happy Simming!
