Same Flower, Different Petals – a DITFT – Generation 3: Part 1

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to Same Flower, Different Petals! Last time, we saw Eleanor and Afu’s twin girls Frida and Georgia grow up. As Frida became a teenager, a lot of tension arose between her and her mother, and they left things quite unresolved when Frida moved out of the family home and into her own apartment in San Myshuno at the end of the update. As you might have guessed, Frida is the generation 3 heir, and we’ll see what she gets up to in the coming updates!

Blueberry Island – Summer 4 – Chin

Hi everyone!

We’re back on Blueberry Island, and today we’re visiting the Chin family, which consists of our founder’s eldest son Adam, his wife Gretchen, their three daughters and their beloved rescue dog Alegra. Last time, not that much happened really. Gretchen worked her way up the Business career ladder and they got their hair salon up to level 6. That was pretty much it. Let’s see what they get up to this time!

Blueberry Island – Summer 4 – Harris 1

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to Blueberry Island! It’s been a while since the last update and that’s because I’ve been playing the Sims 4 for the past couple of months. I ventured back into the Sims 2 today, though, and it was so nice to return to this wonderful neighbourhood!

The last time we visited the Harris family, the twins Carrie and Ella moved out of the family home to go to university. That meant that after living with four sisters for a while, Nick was now the only child left at home. Nick grew up to a teenager, and Stella and James both became elders.

Same Flower, Different Petals – a DITFT – Generation 2: Part 3

Hi everyone!

Welcome to the third and final instalment of Generation 2 of Same Flower, Different Petals! This part will be slightly longer, I think, especially in terms of text because I got a little carried away with storytelling :) Last time, Eleanor opened up her art gallery, which became a great success. So much so that she earned enough money to build a large home on the outskirts of Windenburg. Eleanor also became pregnant and she and Afu married in a small ceremony before she gave birth to twin girls: Frida and Georgia. That’s where we left off!

Same Flower, Different Petals – a DITFT – Generation 2: Part 2

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to Same Flower, Different Petals! Last time, we followed Eleanor as she went to university, where she had a wonderful time and fell in love with Afu. After graduating, she moved to Windenburg, using her savings to buy an old museum and turn it into an art gallery, where she would sell her own paintings. And that’s where we left off!

Same Flower, Different Petals – a DITFT – Generation 2: Part 1

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to Same Flower, Different Petals! It’s been a while, because I wanted to focus on finishing my legacy challenge (A Bookish Legacy) before returning to the Roseflowers. I did already have quite a bit of generation 2 played, but I simply didn’t get around to posting it. I’ve now finishing the legacy, and I’m fully back to playing the Roseflowers! Like the first generation, this one is also going to be divided over multiple parts – probably four.

Quick refresher: We started this Differences in the Family Tree Challenge with Rosalynd Roseflower, who moved to Brindleton Bay to start her own farm. She married Salim Benali, and together they had two children: Eleanor and Jonathan. Despite Rosalynd’s wish for Eleanor to take over the farm, Eleanor decided to go to university to pursue an Art History degree. And that’s exactly where we left off last time!

A Bookish Legacy – Generation 10 (The End!)

Hi everyone!

Here is is: the final update of A Bookish Legacy. I can’t actually remember when I started playing the challenge but I think it was in 2018, or maybe a bit earlier. And now I’ve finished it! I must admit, I was definitely excited to be done because, although I love the Books, I’m ready to move on to different Sims adventures. One of the rules of the legacy challenge is that the family has to live on the same lot throughout all of the ten generations, and that means I’ve seen a lot of Willow Creek over the past years, but I haven’t played much in other neighbourhoods. I’m excited to explore more of the game that way (partly with the DITFT challenge I already started last year).

Anyway, enough of that! This update is meant as a bit of a goodbye to the Books, and I also want to show you what little Anne looks like as she grows up. I haven’t played her past toddlerhood, but I couldn’t resist checking CAS. I’ve saved her in my Library, so I might place her in another neighbourhood and play with her again later on.

A Bookish Legacy – Generation 9

Hi everyone!

We’re almost at the end of the legacy! In this update, we’ll see the birth of generation 10, which means the end of the challenge. There will be one more small update after this one (which I’ll post right away as well) to conclude the entire thing and then that will be that! :O

First, though, let’s see what our generation 9 heir Benjamin gets up to.

A Bookish Legacy – Generation 8

Hi everyone!

I’m very excited, because at this point in time I have actually finished the legacy challenge! I’m going to put out the remaining three updates as quickly as I can, and then A Bookish Legacy has been completed. I still can’t really believe it! More on that later, though, because first we’ll see what generation 8 gets up to!

A Bookish Legacy – Generation 7: Part 2

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to A Bookish Legacy! Last time, Emily met the love her life, Ashlynn, and they started a family together. They first had Maggie, who is now a child, and then they had twin girls, Angie and Alice, who are now toddlers. It was an all round good time, until Emily’s parents Jill and Jamar both passed away. I loved both of them a lot! Now, let’s move on to see how Emily and Ashlynn’s family get on!
